Trevor Pressman has been a prominent force in the entertainment world for more than a decade. He has collaborated with a wide range of prominent companies and individuals including Comedy Central, Paramount Television, PBS, Warner Bros, Northrop Grumman Space Technology, Oscar-winning director Arnold Schwartzman, OBE and Olympic gold medalist and freestyle skiing maverick Jonny Moseley.
Currently, as VP of Post Production and Senior Editor for Friday's Films, a creative services studio focusing on film, video and visual media, Trevor architected and implemented and a bleeding edge, scalable, file-based workflow and archive system from the ground up and spearheaded the overhaul of company financial systems and business operations, leading to over 300% increase in staff and workflow capacity, stability, data security, client base, and drove annual revenue to increase over 20x within 1 year. Trevor oversees general systems operations, trains and oversees post production staff, and identifies, researches and implements bleeding-edge workflow solutions and business practices.
As Product Manager for Vuze, Inc., the provider of the most popular peer-to-peer application for the transfer of large media files online, Trevor defined and established business models for contract and self-publishers, overhauled the content publishing, ingestion, and management processes, revived the game distribution area, and initiated Vuze's internal social network allowing users to interact and universally share content. Trevor's contributions to Vuze reduced operating costs below .08% of outsourcing, led to increased content downloads, expanded user base, and increased revenue by 50%. Vuze continues to redefine the delivery of high-quality home entertainment over the internet.
Trevor also worked on several successful multimedia and video projects for the aerospace and defense leader Northrop Grumman Space Technology, supporting the marketing and development of the James Webb Space Telescope (successor to the Hubble Space Telescope), Crew Exploration Vehicle (successor to the Space Shuttle), and Airborne Laser (megawatt-class-laser ballistic missile defense aircraft) – three products that are defining the future of space exploration and global defense.
Earlier in his career, Trevor collaborated on the sound design for the Academy Award winning film, Forrest Gump with revolutionary sound designer Randy Thom (The Right Stuff, Contact, The Incredibles) at Skywalker Sound/Lucasfilm, Ltd. During his internship at Skywalker, Trevor aided in the development of ProTools, digital audio workstation software that serves as the de facto standard of digital audio editing and music production.
Trevor graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in Cinema Television Production. Trevor lives with his family in the San Francisco Bay Area.
